February 20, 2018 Expiration Date of 950 MHz Band RFID System (Electronic Tag System) and Transition to 920 MHz Band

The 950 MHz band RFID system is due to expire on March 31, 2018. The use of the 950 MHz RFID system on and after April 1, 2018, violated the Radio Act. Users of the 950 MHz band RFID system must replace the system with the 920 MHz RFID system by March 31, 2018.

If users move to the 920 MHz band by the expiration date, the cost of transfer is to be borne by SoftBank Corp. in accordance with a termination promotion measure. Accordingly, they should consult with SoftBank Corp. as soon as possible.
