February 28, 2018 Results of Implementation of Survey on Use of VHF Band (207.5 to 222 MHz)

In order to contribute to a study on the use of the VHF band (207.5 to 222 MHz), the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) conducted a survey from Wednesday, November 22, 2017 through Friday, February 16, 2018 on those who wish to participate in terrestrial basic broadcasting for mobile equipment and proposals for specific systems planned for use in the VHF band. MIC received eight proposals for concrete systems planning the use of the VHF band.

MIC will study the specific effective use of the VHF band (207.5 to 222 MHz) with consideration of the proposals received.
