February 7, 2018 Report from the Radio Regulatory Council on License Application for of Terrestrial Basic Broadcasting Station Operating at Frequencies Higher than 99 MHz and up to 108 MHz for Mobile Equipment (in Chugoku and Shikoku Wide Area)

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) submitted today an inquiry to the Radio Regulatory Council on the licensing of V-Low multimedia terrestrial basic broadcasting using frequencies in excess of 99 MHz up to 108 MHz covering the Chugoku and Shikoku wide area for mobile equipment. MIC received by return a report from the Radio Regulatory Council (Chaired by Susumu Yoshida, Specially Appointed Professor, Kyoto University) stating its approval as inquired.
