March 1, 2018 Report from the Radio Regulatory Council on Preliminary License of Terrestrial Basic Broadcasting Station Operating at Frequencies Higher than 99 MHz and up to 108 MHz for Mobile Equipment (V-Low Multimedia Broadcasting Master Station in Hokkaido)

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) submitted today an inquiry to the Radio Regulatory Council (Chaired by Susumu Yoshida, Specially Appointed Professor, Kyoto University) on the establishment of a terrestrial basic broadcasting station using frequencies in excess of 99 MHz up to 108 MHz covering the Hokkaido area for mobile equipment. The application for the preliminary license of this station was applied by VIP Co., Ltd. (Nihira Narihiko, President). MIC received by return a report from the Radio Regulatory Council stating the appropriateness of the approval as inquired.
