May 11, 2018 Implementation of FY2018 Info-Communications Promotion Month

With the aim of spreading and promoting information communications, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) and the Council for Info-Communications Promotion Month (^*) have designated a period from Tuesday, May 15, through Friday, June 15, 2017, as Info-Communications Promotion Month to implement ICT-related events in each region of Japan.
MIC and the Council hope that these events will be a good opportunity to deepen people’s understanding to information and communications that play a major role in building a prosperous society in which people can live in peace.

(^*) The Council for Info-Communications Promotion Month: An organization established to promote and spread telecommunications with the telecommunications system reforms in April 1985 and consisting of various info-communications organizations in the private sector.
