August 29, 2018 Implementation of Emergency Communications Drill and Related Emergency Drills as Part of FY2018 Comprehensive Disaster-preparedness Drills

The Central Emergency Communication Conference (chaired by Yasuhiko Taniwaki, Director-General of the Telecommunications Bureau of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC)), together with the regional Emergency Communication Conference in each area, will conduct an emergency communications drill and related emergency drills. These drills as part of the fiscal 2018 comprehensive disaster-preparedness drills to be held throughout Japan aim to contribute to the securement of uninterrupted communications in times of disasters.
