September 12, 2018 Partial Report from the Information and Communication Council on Technical Requirements of Telecommunications Equipment Compatible with IP Networking

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications received a partial report today from the Information and Communications Council (Chaired by Takeshi Uchiyamada, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Toyota Motor Corporation) on technical requirements of telecommunications equipment for smoothly migrating fixed telephone networks as a part of Inquiry No. 2020 of October 31, 2005, entitled Technical Requirements for Telecommunications Equipment Corresponding to the Switchover of Networks to IP.
