November 19, 2019 Public Appeal for FY2020 R&D Themes under International Collaborative Strategic Information and Communications R&D Promotion Programme (SCOPE)―Japan-EU Joint Research

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) hereby announces that it will make a public appeal for new research and development (R&D) themes starting in fiscal 2020 under the International Collaborative Strategic Information and Communications R&D Promotion Programme (SCOPE).
MIC has decided to make this appeal before the fiscal 2020 budget bill passes through the Diet so that this project can be started promptly after the budget bill passes through the Diet. Therefore, it should be kept in mind that the implementation of the project is subject to change according to the passage of the budget bill.
