December 6, 2019 Results of Appeal for Opinions on Final Draft Report of Comprehensive Review of Various Rules in the Telecommunication Field

The Telecommunications Business Policy Committee (chaired by Hirotaka Yamauchi, Specially Appointed Professor, Graduate School of Business Administration, Department of Business Administration, Hitotsubashi University) of the Information and Communications Council made an appeal for opinions on the final draft report of a comprehensive review of various rules in the telecommunications field from Thursday, October 24 through Friday, November 22, 2019. As a result, 33 opinions were submitted, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has decided to announce the opinions presented, along with the views of the Telecommunications Business Policy Committee on the opinions.

The final draft report of a comprehensive review of various rules in the telecommunications field will be deliberated at the general meeting of the Information and Communications Council to be held in December 2019, with consideration of the results of the appeal for opinions.
