December 6, 2019 Release of Report from Working Group on Telecommunications Relay Services

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) and the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (MHLW) established a working group on telecommunications relay services (Chief investigator: Yoshinori Sakai, Professor Emeritus at the Tokyo Institute of Technology and Guest Professor at Tsuda University) since January 2019.
Recently, the working group compiled a report, and MIC has decided to release the same.

Both MIC and MHLW worked and established a working group on telecommunications relay services under the Society ICT Accessibility Subcommittee of the Conference on Realization of Digital-utilized Symbiosis Society in January 2019 to study various issues for realizing telecommunications relay services as public infrastructure.
Recently, the working group compiled a report based on the results of its study in the past, and MIC has decided to release the same.
