December 11, 2019 Results of Appeal for Opinions concerning Draft Ministerial Ordinance on Partial Revisions to the Regulations for Enforcement of the Radio Act

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) made an appeal for opinions from Thursday, October 24, through Friday, November 22, 2019, on a draft Ministerial Ordinance on partial revisions to the Regulations for Enforcement of the Radio Act (Ministerial Ordinance of MPT No. 46 of 1988). As a result, MIC received five opinions in response to the appeal, and MIC has decided to announce the opinions along with MIC’s comments to the opinions.

Results of appeal for opinions

MIC has drafted partial revisions to the Regulations for Enforcement of the Radio Act (Ministerial Ordinance of MPT No. 46 of 1988) to understand the status of SIM unlocking. Accordingly, MIC made an appeal for opinions from Thursday, October 24, through Friday, November 22, 2019, based on the Administrative Procedure Act (Act No. 88 of 1993).
As a result of the appeal, MIC received five opinions submitted.
