December 17, 2019 Certifications of Handling of Electronic Power of Attorneys

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) granted certifications of the competent ministers (Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications and Minister for Economy, Trade and Industry) prescribed in Article 5, paragraph 1 of the Act on Promotion of Dissemination of Electronic Power of Attorney (Act No. 64 of 2017) to Mitsubishi Electric Information Network Corporation (President Masaaki Ueda). In this connection, a ceremony to deliver the certificate was held.

1. Background

Mitsubishi Electric Information Network Corporation applied for the certifications of the handling of electronic power of attorneys.
As a result of a review by MIC and METI, the application content of the company satisfied the criteria for certifications and approved the company’s handling of electronic power of attorneys.
