December 20, 2019 Results of Appeal for Opinions on Draft Report of Broadcasting System Subcommittee
(Technical requirements for the safety and reliability of digital terrestrial television broadcasting as part of technical requirements for the safety and reliability of broadcasting (Inquiry No. 2031))
The Broadcasting System Subcommittee (Chief investigator: Makoto Itami Professor, Tokyo University of Science) under the Department of Information and Communications Technology of the Information and Communications Council made an appeal for opinions on the captioned subject from Saturday, November 9 through Monday, December 9, 2019.
As a result, ten opinions were submitted, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications decided to announce the opinions along with the Subcommittee’s comments to the opinions.

A draft report of the Broadcasting System Subcommittee under the Department of Information and Communications Technology of the Information and Communications Council
2. Future plan
With consideration of the results of the opinions received, the Department of Information and Communications Technology of the Information and Communications Council will deliberate the matter at its meeting to be held on Tuesday, December 24, 2019.
