February 13, 2019 Technical Requirements for Upgrading of Non-geostationary Satellite System using L Band
Partial Report from Information and Communications Council
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications has today received a partial report from the Information and Communications Council (Chaired by Takeshi Uchiyamada, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Toyota Motor Corporation). The report, which specifies some of the technical requirements for upgrading the non-geostationary satellite system using the L band, was issued in partial response to inquiry number 82, which was dated September 25, 1995, addressed to the Telecommunications Technology Council, about the technical requirements for mobile satellite communications systems using non-geostationary satellite.
