March 26, 2019 Voice Communications Usage in Japan Seen from Volume of Communications Traffic
State of usage in FY2017
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) hereby announces that it has summarized data on the volume of communications traffic for fiscal 2017 reported from telecommunications carriers in accordance with the Rules for Reporting on Telecommunications Business (Ministerial Ordinance of MPT No. 46 of 1988) In addition, because there was some numerical errors in the report from telecommunications carriers (for 2012 through 2016), which was press-released in the past, and MIC announces the list of corrections together.
