In order to accelerate efforts towards smart cities and to foster momentum of establishing smart cities, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, the Cabinet Office, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, and the Japan Economic Organization Federation will jointly hold an event, Smart City Acceleration Forum―Creating Cities and Communities in the Age of Society 5.0.
