May 31, 2019 Publication of ICT Global Strategy

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has been holding roundtable meetings on ICT global strategy for the digital transformation age (chaired by Shojiro Nishio, President of Osaka University) since December last year. Recently, a report on the meetings was compiled. Accordingly, with consideration of the recommendations in this report, MIC has decided to release its ICT global strategy. With this strategy, MIC will respond to the G20 Ministerial Meeting on Trade and Digital Economy in Tsukuba, Ibaraki Prefecture on the next weekend.
