June 14, 2019 Implementation of Alerting Users of IoT Devices Infected with Malware

In recent years, cyberattacks that abuse IoT devices are rapidly increasing, and in order to prevent such cyberattacks, a NOTICE program has been implemented since February 2019, with consideration of the need for appropriate security measures to be taken by device users.
In addition to the efforts of NOTICE, as soon as the National Research and Development Corporation (NICT) is ready in mid-June 2019, its Network Incident analysis Center for Tactical Emergency Response (NICTER) project will start an initiative to enable Internet providers to alert users if the malware infection of their devices is found.
