July 30, 2019 Holding the 5th Meeting of APT Conference Preparatory Group for WRC-19 (APG19-5) in Tokyo

The Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT) will organize the 5th Meeting of APT Conference Preparatory Group for WRC-19 (APG19-5) from Wednesday, July 31, through Tuesday, August 6, in Tokyo.
The purpose of this meeting is to harmonize views in the region and to compile regional proposals for the World Radiocommunication Conference 2019 (WRC-19).
Holding this meeting in Japan is advantageous to lead discussions towards the formulation of regional joint recommendations and to reflect Japan’s proposals appropriately. It is also expected to further improve Japan’s international standing in the field of wireless communications and promote international cooperation.
