August 16, 2019 Start of FY2019 5G Comprehensive Demonstration Test

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications started conducting comprehensive demonstration tests on the Fifth Generation Mobile Communications System (5G comprehensive demonstration tests) in fiscal 2017 with the participation of stakeholders in various fields for the creation of a new market with the realization of the 5G. Recently, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications has decided on the content of a 5G comprehensive demonstration test (except for items related to multiple simultaneous connections that have been previously announced) for the current fiscal year.
