September 6, 2019 Hearing Opinions from Parties Concerned with Technical Requirements for Upgrading VHF Subscriber Radio Systems

The Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee (Chief Investigator: Makoto Ando, Executive Director of National Institute of Technology) of the Department on Information and Communications Technology under the Information and Communications Council started deliberating technical requirements for the upgrading of VHF subscriber radio systems as a part of technical requirements for the upgrading of commercial land mobile communications (Inquiry No. 2033 of May 17, 2013) on Thursday, September 5, 2019. The Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee is scheduled to draft a partial report around February 2, 2020.
In this connection, the Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee will provide an opportunity for hearing opinions of the parties concerned from 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 3, 2019. Those who are interested are requested to apply.
