The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) made a public appeal for research and development (R&D) theme-specific subjects for fiscal 2020 under the International Collaborative Strategic Information and Communications R&D Promotion Programme (SCOPE) and adopted one subject.
Results of public appeal
MIC made a public appeal from Tuesday, November 19 through Thursday, June 18, 2020, for R&D theme-specific subjects for fiscal 2020 under SCOPE (under the theme of eHealth) and received 30 proposals.
MIC had the proposals evaluated by an external evaluation committee and adopted the Japan-Europe Joint Virtual Coaching System for Smart Aging (e-VITA).
