October 23, 2020 Public Appeal for Subsidized Projects on IoT Testbeds and Reginal Data Centers (Eighth Time)

The National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT, headed by TOKUDA Hideyuki, President) will make an appeal for subsidized projects on the service of innovative technology development facilities (used as IoT testbeds) and regional specific telecommunications facilities (used for regional data centers). These facilities have been established under the Act on Facilitation of Implementation of Project for Development of Specified Communication and Broadcasting (Act No. 35 of 1990).
The eighth public appeal will be the final public appeal for the projects. Consider this and apply for the grant. Since fiscal 2020, the requirements for subsidies for the project on regional data centers have been relaxed, which please check the attachment carefully.

Friday, October 23 and no later than 5:00 PM on Friday, December 18, 2020

Prepare application documents under subsidy guidelines and submit them to the submission destination specified in 3.
