November 13, 2020 Result of Appeal for Opinions on Draft Notices for Partial Revision of Matters that Determine Syllabus of Training Course for Chief Telecommunications Engineers

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) made an appeal for opinions from September 8, 2020, through October 7, 2020, on draft notices that will partially revise the matters of determining the syllabus of chief telecommunications engineers’ training course. However, no opinions were submitted on this matter.

1. Overview of revision

MIC promulgated the Ministerial Ordinance for the Partial Revision of the Regulations for Chief Telecommunications Engineer (Ministerial Ordinance of MIC No. 85 of 2020) on September 7, 2020. This promulgation will revise telecommunications-related institutions, including the Regulations for Chief Telecommunications Engineer (Ministerial Ordinance of MPT No. 27 of 1985) and the Rules for Installation Technician (Ministerial Ordinance of MPT No. 28 of 1985). Accordingly, MIC plans to make necessary revisions to relevant notices.

2. Results of appeal for opinions

MIC made this appeal for opinions from September 8, 2020, through October 7, 2020, on draft notices that will partially revise the matters of determining the syllabus of chief telecommunications engineers’ training course.
