Technical Requirements for Microwave Band Expansion for Outdoor Use of UWB Wireless System as Part of Technical Requirements for UWB Wireless System
The Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee (Chief Investigator: ANDO Makoto, Professor Emeritus, Tokyo Institute of Technology) of the Department on Information and Communications Technology under the Information and Communications Council has been studying technical requirements for microwave band expansion for the outdoor use of the ultra-wideband (UWB) wireless system since May 2020, as part of technical requirements for the UWB wireless system in response to Inquiry No. 2008 of September 30, 2002, of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC).
Recently, the Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee drafted a report on the subject, and accordingly, MIC will make an appeal for opinions on the draft from Wednesday, November 25 through Thursday, December 24, 2020.

No later than Thursday, December 24, 2020 (Opinions, if submitted by mail, must arrive no later than the same day.)

The Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee will finalize the report based on the results of the appeal for opinions.
