December 1, 2020 Accepting Applications for Designation of Telephone Relay Service Providers and Support Organizations of Telephone Relay Services

From Wednesday, December 2, 2020, through Monday, January 4, 2021, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will accept applications for the designation of telephone relay service providers and support organizations of telephone relay services pursuant to the provisions of Article 8, Paragraph 1, and Article 20 of the Act on Facilitating the Use of Telephones by the Hearing Impaired, etc. (Act No. 53 of 2020).

1. Submission period

From 9:30 am on Wednesday, December 2, 2020, and no later than 6:15 pm on Monday, January 4, 2021

MIC will examine whether the submitted application documents meet the requirements and designate a telephone relay service provider and a support organization of telephone relay services.
