December 4, 2020 Result of Election of APT Secretary General

An election of the Secretary General of the Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT) took place at the 15th Session of the APT General Assembly on December 4, 2020, and Mr. KONDO Masanori from Japan was elected.

    The APT was established in 1979 as an international organization specializing in information and communication technologies in the Asia Pacific region. The headquarters is in Thailand (Bangkok). For the balanced development of telecommunication services and information infrastructure in the region, the APT coordinates regional policies, such as human resource development, standardization, and wireless communication through training and seminars.
