Technical requirements for upgrading VHF band subscriber wireless systems as part of technical requirements for upgrading commercial and official land radiocommunications
The Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee (Chief Investigator: Makoto Ando, Professor at Tokyo Institute of Technology Graduate School of Science and Engineering), Department on Information and Communications Technology, Information and Communications Council, made an appeal for opinions from Saturday, February, 8 through Tuesday, March 3, 2020, on its draft report pertaining to the technical requirements for upgrading VHF band subscriber wireless systems.
As a result, 2 opinions were received.

2. Future plans
The Department on Information and Communications Technology (chaired by Shojiro Nishio, President of Osaka University) of the Information and Communications Council will deliberate the matter in its next meeting with consideration for the results of the appeal for opinions.
