Technical requirements for upgrading digital cordless telephones in radio stations as part of technical requirements for upgrading low-power wireless communications systems
The Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee (Chief Investigator: Makoto Ando, Professor at Tokyo Institute of Technology Graduate School of Science and Engineering), Department on Information and Communications Technology, Information and Communications Council, has made an appeal for opinions regarding the below considerations from Friday, March 20, through to Monday, April 20, 2020, on a draft report compiled by the Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee pertaining to the technical requirements for upgrading digital cordless telephones in radio stations.

2. Overview
The Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee, Department on Information and Communications Technology, Information and Communications Council, has been studying technical requirements for upgrading digital cordless telephones in radio stations, as part of the technical requirements needed to upgrade low-power wireless communications systems (Inquiry No. 2009 of September 30, 2002) since April 2019. The Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee has recently compiled the results of the study as a draft report, and has made an appeal for opinions on this report from Friday, March 20, through to Monday, April 20, 2020.
3. Submission period
From Friday, March 20, until no later than Monday, April 20, 2020.
(Opinions, if submitted by mail, must arrive no later than the same day.)
4. Future plans
A final report will be completed with consideration of the results of the appeal for opinions.
