March 30, 2020 Results of Public Offer of Organizations to Implement Reception Difficulty Countermeasure Project

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) made a public offer from Friday, January 17 through to Thursday, February 6, 2020, for organizations to make environmental improvements and provide support for the smooth migration of conventional broadcasting to digital terrestrial broadcasting (under a reception difficulty countermeasure project) pertaining to the fiscal 2020 budget.
The details of the proposals were evaluated by external experts, and, based on their evaluation, a candidate implementation organization was selected.
MIC examined the details of the granted applications, and after confirming whether or not there is an obstacle to the implementation of the project, decided on the winning organization.

1. Overview of the reception difficulty countermeasure project

This project is for the purpose of implementing countermeasures to resolve or eliminate radio interference from terrestrial digital television broadcasting through received inquiries and onsite inspections.

2. Candidate organizations to implement the project

From Friday, January 17, through to Thursday, February 6, there was 1 application to be a candidate organization to implement the project. The details of the proposal was evaluated by external experts, and, based on their evaluation, the following candidate implementation organization was selected.
