April 1, 2020 Call for Exhibitors of ITU Digital World 2020
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will participate in the ITU Digital World 2020 event sponsored by the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) and held in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in order to showcase Japan’s ICT technologies and services at the Japan Pavilion.
Accordingly, MIC has decided to make an appeal for companies and organizations wishing to exhibit at the Japan Pavilion.
1. Overview
The ITU Digital World (formerly ITU Telecom World) is held every year for governments and private companies to exchange opinions and share the latest information. ITU Digital World attracts many relevant dignitaries from governments and companies in each country. MIC will participate in the event at the Japan Pavilion and has decided to make an appeal for exhibitors targeting Japanese companies planning to expand their business overseas so that they can utilize the event as their first step to their business expansion overseas.

Wednesday, April 1 through Wednesday, April 15, 2020
3. Application guidelines

If you are interested in exhibiting, please send an email to itudw_atmark_ml.soumu.go.jp by Wednesday, April 15, 2020 (@ is expressed as _atmark_ to prevent spam mails. When you send e-mail, please change _atmark_ to @), with the contents specified below (with or without file attachments).

Exhibit contents, explanation of the exhibiting equipment, services, etc. (in about 200 characters). Please attach illustrations, if any.

Exhibitors are to visit and leave the event venue by themselves. They will be responsible for their travel, stay, food, transportation expenses, including equipment transportation expenses, and all other expenses.

MIC will contact and inform each exhibitor of the exhibition method in detail at a later date. If there are many applicants for the exhibition, MIC will select eligible applicants with consideration of the purpose of the event and the variety of exhibitions.
4. Notification of selection results
MIC will inform each applicant of the selection results individually.
