April 27, 2020 Public Appeal for Organizations to Implement Environmental Development Project on Satellite Broadcasting Reception

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will make an appeal from Monday, April 27 through Wednesday, May 27, 2020, for organizations that will implement an Environmental Development Project on Satellite Broadcasting Reception.

Regarding the intermediate frequency band used by the new 4K/8K satellite broadcasting that started on December 2018, it is necessary to refurbish reception equipment for satellite basic broadcasting, which may affect other wireless systems, and establish an appropriate reception environment.
Accordingly, MIC has decided to make a public appeal for organizations that will implement the Environmental Development Project on Satellite Broadcasting Reception under a fiscal 2020 budget.

Description

1. Submission deadline

No later than 5 pm on Wednesday, May 27, 2020.

Organizations with juridical personality

3. Target organizations, application requirements, and documents

The Environmental Development Project on Satellite Broadcasting Reception as part of the wireless system spread support to be subsidized.

4.How to submit application documents

Put a complete set of application documents (an original and a copy) in an envelope marked “Application documents for the Environmental Development Project on Satellite Broadcasting Reception.” (No application by fax or e-mail is accepted.)
Documents submitted will not be returned.

5. Screening method

After making a formal and document review of the selection, eligible organizations will be decided according to the opinions of external experts.

7. Method for obtaining reference information
