May 20, 2020 Decision on Grating Subsidies for Project on Emergency Measures for Conversion of Cable Television Operators’ Lines to Optical Cables
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has selected subsidy recipients with consideration of the results of evaluation made by external experts, regarding MIC’s initiative called Project on Emergency Measures for Conversion of Cable Television Operators’ Lines to Optical Cables under the fiscal 2020 initial budget.
1. Project overview
This project subsidizes a part of cable TV operators’ cost of converting their metal lines to optical cables in their network to reinforce the disaster resistance of the network and ensure the reliable and stable transmission of information in times of disaster.
2. Subsidy recipients
MIC has selected the seven subsidy recipients specified below, with consideration of the results of evaluation made by external experts.
