June 2, 2020 Appeal for Subsidized Projects on IoT Testbeds and Reginal Data Centers (Seventh Time)

  The National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT, headed by Dr. Hideyuki Tokuda, President) has decided to make an appeal for subsidized projects on the service of innovative technology development facilities (used as IoT testbeds) and regional specific telecommunications facilities (used for regional data centers). These facilities have been established under the Act on Facilitation of Implementation of Project for Development of Specified Communication and Broadcasting (Act No. 35 of 1990).

1. Application period (Acceptance period of applications)

From Tuesday, June 2 and no later than 5:00 pm on July 22, 2020

2. Application method

Prepare application documents under subsidy guidelines and submit them by email or postal mail to the submission destination.
Mail paper application documents later in the case of sending the application by email.
The subsidy guidelines, along with an application manual and application form, are downloadable from the NICT’s webpage.
