June 2, 2020 Appeal for Opinions on Draft Report from New-generation Mobile Communications System Subcommittee

  The New-generation Mobile Communications System Subcommittee (Chief Investigator: Hiroyuki Morikawa, Professor, Graduate School of Engineering, The University of Tokyo) of the Department on Information and Communications Technology under the Information and Communications Council has been studying technical requirements for the fifth-generation mobile communications system used by various parties according to local and individual needs (local 5G) as part of technical requirements in response to Inquiry No. 2038 of October 12, 2016, for new-generation mobile communications systems since December 2018.
  Recently, the New-generation Mobile Communications Systems Subcommittee drafted a report, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will make an appeal from Wednesday, June 3 through Friday, June 26, 2020, on the draft report.

1. Application period (Acceptance period of applications)

From Tuesday, June 2 and no later than 5:00 pm on July 22, 2020

Prepare application documents under subsidy guidelines and submit them by email or postal mail to the submission destination.
Mail paper application documents later in the case of sending the application by email.
