June 23, 2020 Nomination of Candidate Organizations Participating in Regional Demonstration Projects Under the Digital Utilization Supporters Promotion Project in FY2020

  The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) made a public appeal for proposals for Regional Demonstration Projects under the Digital Utilization Supporters Promotion Project in fiscal 2020 and has nominated several candidate organizations.

1. Project overview

The purpose of this demonstration project is to verify the systems that are required for continuous activities across the country in providing Digital Utilization Supporters who can easily help older people who live close by in terms of using ICT devices and services.

2. Content of decision

MIC made the public appeal from Thursday, March 19 through Friday, May 15, 2020, and received 14 proposals. MIC had the proposals evaluated by external experts and nominated the candidate organizations with consideration of the results of the evaluation.
