June 30, 2020 FY2020 Public Appeal related to Innovation Program

  The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has decided to make an appeal related to an innovation program that will support fantastic and ambitious technical challenges with a high possibility to create value on a destructive global scale and transmit diversified varieties of challenges from all over Japan to every corner of the world.

MIC has been implementing the innovation program since fiscal 2014 to support “eccentric people” working on challenges and ambitious technical issues with no fear of failure. This program provides support for those who can discover unknown issues (which artificial intelligence cannot imagine) rather than find known correct answers and work with curiosity to create new things in places where nothing exists with the power to open up the future.
