July 3, 2020 Appeal for Opinions on Draft Ministerial Ordinance for Partial Revisions to Regulations for Enforcement of Postal Act

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) drafted a ministerial ordinance for partial revisions to the Regulations for Enforcement of the Postal Act (MIC ordinance No. 5 of 2003) for the institutional development of the subsidiary business of mail authenticators.
Accordingly, MIC has decided to make an appeal for opinions on the draft from Saturday, July 4 through Friday, July 31, 2020.

1. Background and overview of the revision

The partial revisions to the Regulations for Enforcement of the Postal Act are to be made to simplify a part of the application procedure for necessary approval from the Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications to mail authenticators who intend to do subsidiary business.

From Saturday, July 4 through Friday, July 31, 2020 (Opinions submitted by mail must also arrive no later than the deadline date.)

With consideration of the appeal for opinions, MIC will promptly revise the ministerial ordinance.
