July 8, 2020 Appeal for Opinions on Draft Annual Report on Market Validation in Telecommunications Business Field (FY2019) and Draft Annual Plan for Market Validation in Telecommunications Business Field (FY2020)

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) drafted an annual report on market validation in the telecommunications business field for fiscal 2019 and an annual plan for market validation in the telecommunications business field for fiscal 2020.
Therefore, MIC will make an appeal for opinions on these drafts from Thursday, July 9 through Friday, August 7, 2020.

1. Overview

MIC drafted the annual report based on the annual plan for market validation in the telecommunications business field for fiscal 2019.
MIC also drafted the annual plan indicating the analysis and verification policy for market verification for fiscal 2020 with consideration of advice from a meeting for telecommunications market validation. The draft annual plan analyzes and verifies market trends in the telecommunications business field to enable telecommunications carriers to properly conduct market verification that will integrally check the appropriateness of the business of telecommunications carriers.
Accordingly, MIC has decided to make the appeal for opinions on these drafts.
