July 13, 2020 Results of Appeal for Opinions on Draft Report of Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee

Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee made an appeal for opinions from Saturday, February 22 through Monday, March 23, 2020, on a report drafted by the Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee (Chief Investigator: Makoto Ando, Professor emeritus at Tokyo Institute of Technology Graduate School of Science and Engineering), Department on Information and Communications Technology, Information and Communications Council.
As a result, 63 opinions were submitted. Accordingly, Subcommittee has decided to open the submitted opinions to the public along with the Subcommittee’s views on the opinions.

2. Future plans

With consideration of the result of the appeal for opinions, the Department on Information and Communications Technology (chaired by Shojiro Nishio, President of Osaka University) under the Information and Communications Council will deliberate this matter at its next meeting, which will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2020.
