July 17, 2020 Result of Appeal for Opinions on Draft Ministerial Ordinance, etc. for Partial Revision of the Regulations for Enforcement of the Broadcast Act, etc.Simplified and streamlined reporting procedure for broadcasting equipment

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) drafted a partial revision to the Regulations for Enforcement of the Broadcast Act to simplify and streamline the reporting procedure for broadcasting equipment. Therefore, MIC made an appeal for opinions from Thursday, June 4 through Monday, July 6, 2020. As a result, three opinions were submitted. Accordingly, MIC has decided to open the submitted opinions to the public, along with MIC’s views on the opinions.
MIC will promptly make institutional development for relevant regulations based on the result of opinions submitted.

1. Result of appeal for opinions

MIC drafted the partial revision to the Regulations for Enforcement of the Broadcast Act to simplify and streamline the reporting procedure for broadcasting equipment and made this appeal for opinions from Thursday, June 4 through Monday, July 6, 2020.

2. Future plans

MIC will promptly make institutional development for the relevant regulations based on the result of opinions submitted.
