January 8, 2021 Holding Online Seminar for Local Governments for Future Development and Utilization of Public Wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) Services

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will hold an online seminar for local governments for the future development and utilization of public wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) services.
In this seminar, in addition to introducing good practices from local public organizations regarding public wireless LAN services for disaster prevention, basic knowledge lectures on developing Wi-Fi from experts and Wi-Fi related technology exhibitions will be all held online.

  For this seminar, MIC plan to hold an introduction of good practices from the officials in charge of local public organizations and a basic knowledge course from experts for establishing Wi-Fi services.

2. Technology exhibition

Along with the lecture, MIC will hold a Wi-Fi-related technical exhibition online. Lecturers will introduce and explain with demonstrations so that participants can obtain information on various Wi-Fi-related technologies and services.
