December 3, 2021 Public Appeal for Proposals on Subsidies for Project to Support Radio System Dissemination (Project to Support Disaster Resistance Reinforcement of Radio Stations, including Terrestrial Basic Broadcasting Stations)

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will make a public appeal for proposals on subsidies for a project to support radio system dissemination (project to support disaster resistance reinforcement of radio stations, including terrestrial basic broadcasting stations).

• FY2021 Project to Support Radio System Dissemination (Project to Support Disaster Resistance Reinforcement of Radio Stations, including Terrestrial Basic Broadcasting Stations) (Tertiary)

2. Project overview

1. Implementing entities

Prefectures, municipalities (including coordinating entities of multiple municipalities), specific terrestrial basic broadcasters (including coordinating entities of multiple specific terrestrial basic broadcasters), general incorporated associations, etc.

2. Project description

As per Article 3 (2) viii of the Subsidy Guidelines on Projects to Support the Development of Broadcasting Networks.

3. Method of submitting proposals

1. Submission period

From Friday, December 3, and no later than noon on Thursday, December 23, 2021.

2. Method of application

After preparing the documents under the Subsidy Guidelines and Public Appeal Guidelines, bring or mail one original and a set of electronic media, such as a CD-R, to the competent Regional Bureau of Telecommunications (the Okinawa Office of Telecommunications in the case of Okinawa).
