December 22, 2021 Report from Radio Regulatory Council pertaining to Authorization of Maintenance Regulations of Radio Equipment of Aircraft Stations

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) submitted an inquiry to the Radio Regulatory Council (Chaired by HIBINO Takashi, Chairman of the Board, Chairman, Daiwa Securities Co. Ltd.). This inquiry was about the authorization of the maintenance regulations of the radio equipment of an aircraft station in response to an application from AIRDO Co., Ltd. MIC received a report from the Radio Regulatory Council stating its approval as inquired.

1. Overview

MIC examined the application of AIRDO Co., Ltd. for the maintenance regulations of the radio equipment of the aircraft stations. The application was considered to comply with relevant laws and regulations. Accordingly, MIC submitted an inquiry to the Radio Regulatory Council today about the authorization of the maintenance regulations of the radio equipment of the aircraft station in response to the application and received a report stating its approval as inquired.
