December 24, 2021 Selection of Implementation Plans for Survey Project on Regional Information Dissemination Using Video Content

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has selected implementation plans for the survey project on regional information dissemination using video content based on external experts’ evaluation results.

Survey project overview

The purpose of this survey project is to produce and disseminate video content by matching information dissemination entities, such as local governments, with content producers and disseminators, such as local broadcasting stations, and to verify effective dissemination methods through broadcasting and video distribution.
From Friday, October 8 through Friday, November 26, 2021, the contractor (Mitsubishi Research Institute, Inc.) publicly solicited applications for information dissemination entities (e.g., local governments) and content producers and disseminators (e.g., local broadcasting stations) for this survey project. Based on the external experts’ evaluation results, 18 project plans were selected.
The results of the selection are also posted on the contractor’s website.
