February 5, 2021 Results of Appeal for Opinions on Draft Report from Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee

The Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee (Chief Investigator: ANDO Makoto, Professor Emeritus, Tokyo Institute of Technology) of the Department on Information and Communications Technology under the Information and Communications Council made an appeal for opinions from Wednesday, November 25 through Thursday, December 24, 2020. This report was on technical requirements for microwave band expansion for the outdoor use of the ultra-wideband (UWB) wireless system as part of technical requirements for the UWB wireless system in response to Inquiry No. 2008 of September 30, 2002, of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC).
As a result, one opinion was submitted. Accordingly, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has decided to open the opinion to the public, along with the view of the Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee on the opinion.
