February 26, 2021 Result of Appeal for Opinions on Draft Notice on Partial Revisions to Telecommunications Number Plan

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) made an appeal for opinions from Saturday, January 16 through Monday, February 15, 2021, on a draft notice on partial revisions to the Telecommunications Number Plan. However, no opinions were submitted.
Considering the result of the appeal for opinions, MIC will promptly revise the notice.

1. Purpose and outline of the change

The Order for Partial Revision to the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Act on Prevention of Transfer of Criminal Proceeds (Ordinance No. 3 of 2021 of the Cabinet Office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism) was promulgated on December 28, 2021. Considering the content of the revision, MIC has decided to make necessary changes in the Telecommunications Number Plan (MIC Notice No. 6 of 2019).

2. Result of the appeal for opinions

MIC made an appeal from Saturday, January 16 through Monday, February 15, 2021, for the draft notice on partial revisions to the Telecommunications Number Plan. However, no opinions were submitted.

3. Future plans

Considering the result of the appeal for opinions, MIC will promptly revise the notice.
