March 1, 2021 Holding Wireless Emulator Promotion Symposium

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will hold a Wireless Emulator Promotion Symposium as part of a project on the realization of high-precision radio wave emulator in cyberspace.

1. Purpose

MIC is implementing the project on the realization of high-precision radio wave emulator in cyberspace to develop large-scale wireless emulator that emulates various radio wave utilization systems with high precision in cyberspace.
In this project, a radio wave emulator will be developed, which can emulate various radio wave systems with high precision in cyberspace in real time. The purpose of the project is to provide a testbed that will enable various operators involved in radio wave systems to design, evaluate, and verify infrastructure, systems, platforms, applications, and services.
As part of this project, MIC will hold the Wireless Emulator Promotion Symposium. This opportunity is prepared for stakeholders, including those who develop or use radio wave systems or those involved in businesses, universities, research institutes, and interested in wireless emulator, to exchange opinions on the efficient development and usage of wireless emulator.
At this symposium, research and development personnel will explain the contents of development, introduce demonstrations, and hold panel discussions on the ideal way of wireless emulator based on questions from participants.
