March 19, 2021 Result of Appeal for Opinions on Draft Report of Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee

Technical Requirements for Upgrading of 60 GHz Band Radio Equipment as part of Technical Requirements for Upgrading of Low-power Wireless Communications Systems

The Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee (Chief Investigator: ANDO Makoto, Professor Emeritus at Tokyo Institute of Technology) of the Department on Information and Communications Technology under the Information and Communications Council made an appeal for opinions from Saturday, January 30 through Monday, March 1, 2020, on a draft report. This draft report was on technical requirements for upgrading the effective use of 60 GHz band radio equipment as part of technical requirements to upgrade low-power wireless communications systems (inquiry number 2009, dated September 30, 2002).
As a result, ten opinions were submitted. Accordingly, MIC has decided to open the submitted opinions to the public, along with the views of the subcommittee.
