April 5, 2021 Appeal for Opinions on Draft Report of Internet Traffic Study Group
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will make an appeal for opinions from Tuesday, April 6 through Friday, May 7, 2021, on a draft report of the Internet Traffic Study Group (chaired by HAYASHI Hideya, Professor, Graduate School of Law, Nagoya University).

2. Overview
Since December 2020, this study group has acknowledged various issues of internet connection with stakeholders (telecommunications carriers, content providers, users), and considered necessary actions to address the issues.
On the basis of the results of the discussions, the study group drafted the report, and MIC has decided to make this appeal for opinions on the draft report.
3. Period of Submission
From Tuesday, April 6 and no later than 5:00 pm on Friday, May 7, 2021 (Opinions, if submitted by mail, must also arrive no later than the deadline date.)
4. Future plans
The report will be finalized considering the results of appeal for opinions.
